Tenants Overview

The AVD Tenants module allows you to manage AVD tenants from your Nerdio Manager web portal. You can view a list of all tenants and perform critical tasks such as add and delete tenants.

Add an AVD Tenant

Nerdio Manager allows you to add a new AVD tenant.

To add a new tenant:

  1. Navigate to AVD Tenants and select Add Tenant.

  2. Enter the following information:

    • Azure subscription: From the drop-down list, select the Azure subscription.

    • Name: Type the tenant's name.

      Note: The Name is assigned to AVD tenant during creation and cannot be changed later. By default, it is visible to the end user. Using a custom Friendly Name overrides what is visible to the end user.

    • Friendly Name: Type the tenant's friendly name.

      Note: The Friendly Name is visible to the end user in the AVD remote desktop or HTML client. It can be changed at any time by selecting it.

    • Description: Type the tenant's description.

      Note: The description is only visible to admins and can be changed at any time.

  3. Once you have entered all the desired information, select OK.

Manage an AVD Tenant

Nerdio Manager allows you to manage an AVD tenant.

To manage an AVD tenant:

  1. Navigate to AVD Tenants and locate the tenant you wish to work with.

  2. From the action menu, select one of the following options:

    • User sessions: Select this option if you wish to monitor or manage active/disconnected user sessions for a particular tenant. You can search user sessions by username or host or can filter them based on their status (active/disconnected), etc. You can even view the details of related tasks in the User Sessions Tasks section.

    • Host pools: Select this option if you wish to manage host pools for your tenant.

    • Delete: Select this option if you wish to delete an existing tenant.

AVD Tenant Tasks

Nerdio Manager allows you to view tasks related to AVD tenants.

To work with AVD tenant tasks:

  1. Navigate to AVD Tenants.

  2. At the bottom of the window, in the Tenants Tasks section, you can perform the following functions:

    • Search tasks by task name, resource name or username.

    • Filter the tasks based on status.

    • Refresh the task list.

    • Download a task as JSON.

    • Select Details next to a specific task to view more details related to a task.
