Convert a static host pool to dynamic
Follow the steps below to convert a static host pool to a dynamic host pool. You can then configure the dynamic host pool for Auto-scaling.
Note: Converting a static host pool to dynamic is a configuration change in Nerdio Manager that doesn’t affect active AVD user sessions, so it can be performed without interruption.
To convert a static host pool to dynamic:
Navigate to Workspaces and select the needed workspace.

On the Static Host Pools tab, next to the static host pool you wish to convert, select Convert to Dynamic

In the confirmation dialog box, select Confirm.
Note: By default, the Auto-scale option for this host pool is off. This new host pool has no user sessions. You can manually add and remove hosts from the pool. Alternatively, you can enable Auto-scaling. For details, see Enable dynamic host pool Auto-scaling.
