Enable user cost attribution

Enable user cost attribution

Note: This feature is available only in the Nerdio Manager Premium edition.

Nerdio Manager allows you to capture and report on per-individual-user costs based on the allocation of the total cost of your AVD deployment (compute, storage, network, PaaS, SaaS, etc.) based on the duration of AVD desktops usage during the selected time frame. You can export the report from Nerdio Manager in a CSV file or consume it in Power BI.

To perform the AVD cost analytics, you must enable user cost attribution.

Note:

  • This feature may be enabled only for subscriptions that support Azure Cost Management.

  • To enable this feature, you must have tenant-level roles, such as Global Administrator, Cloud Application Administrator, or Application Administrator, and the subscription-level roles, such as Owner or User Access Administrator.

  • This feature is not supported when Nerdio Manager was installed using the Split Identity method. See Advanced Installation: Split Identity for details.

  • Customized deployment of User Cost Attribution resources is supported. You need to first create resources in the Azure portal.
