Import and Export Remote Applications
Nerdio Manager allows you to import and export remote applications.
Export Remote Applications
Nerdio Manager allows you to export remote applications to either a JSON file or a host pool.
To export remote applications:
Select the host pool with RemoteApp (Pooled) you want to work with.
From the action menu, select Applications> RemoteApps.
Optionally, select the remote application(s) you wish to export. You may export the entire list.
From action menu at the bottom, select Export selected applications (if you selected remote applications) or Export applications list.
Enter the following information:
Export to: From the drop-down list, select the export destination.
Note: When exporting to a JSON file, the file is downloaded to the browser's default download folder.
Destination host pool: When exporting to a host pool, from the drop-down list, select the host pool.
Application group: When exporting to a host pool, from the drop-down list, select the host pool's application group.
Once you have entered all the desired information, select OK.
The remote application export process starts.
Import Remote Applications
Nerdio Manager allows you to import remote applications that were previously exported in a JSON file or from a host pool.
To import remote applications:
Select the host pool with RemoteApp (Pooled) you want to work with.
From the action menu, select Applications> RemoteApps.
At the top, in the App Group drop-down list, select the desired application group to import to.
From the Add RemoteApp action menu, select Import applications list.
Enter the following information:
Import from: From the drop-down list, select the import location.
Host pool: When importing from a host pool, from the drop-down list, select the host pool.
JSON file: When importing from a JSON file, select the file.
Once you have entered all the desired information, select Install.
The remote applications import process starts.
Note: If applications have been imported which are not detected on the host pool, a warning is displayed for those applications. This warning can be resolved by installing the application to the host pool and importing the applications into the pool.
