Export a Desktop Image to a Hybrid Cluster
This feature is only available in the Nerdio Manager Premium edition.
Nerdio Manager allows you to export an existing desktop image to an Azure Stack HCI cluster as a VHD file.
Note: The export image functionality is currently only available for images stored in an Azure Compute Gallery.
Warning: This operation takes a long time to complete, and its processing time is strongly related to your network's speed.
To export a desktop image to a hybrid cluster:
Navigate to Desktop Images.
Locate the desktop image you wish to export.
From the action menu, select Export to HCI.
Enter the following information:
Cluster: From the drop-down list, select the cluster to export the image to.
Node Name: From the drop-down list, select the Azure Stack HCI cluster node that performs the download operation of the image VHD.
Image Path: Type the cluster storage path where image VHD is to be located.
Image Name: Type the VHD file name without a file extension.
Note: For example, do not type Win10Multi.vhdx. Simply type Win10Multi.
Download From: From the drop-down list, select the region where an image replica is present.
Note:The Image VHD is copied to your cluster from that region.
Once you have entered all the desired information, select OK.
The export task begins. You can follow the task's progress in the Desktop Images Tasks window.
