Troubleshoot common UAM deployment issues
Unified Application Management (UAM) in Nerdio Manager allows you to automate updates to applications from a centralized repository. For details, see Unified Application Management: Manage Applications.
Occasionally, errors may occur during the application deployment or update.
For common UAM errors and methods to troubleshoot other issues, see the sections below.
Common UAM errors

Cause |
Solution |
---|---|---|
Application [app name] not found on target host after installation. |
The application did not finish installing. |
Review the Deployment Status logs in Nerdio Manager to determine whether the issue is related to the download or the installation process. |
Set-LocalUser : An unspecified error occurred: status = 3221226252 |
Nerdio Manager is not able to create a local admin account on the device. |
Check your Intune or GPO policies to ensure that the UIA elevation prompt without secure desktop and Admin Approval Mode for Built-in Administrator settings are disabled. For details, see User Account Control settings and configuration. |

An ASR policy may be preventing the UAM policy from executing. |
For possible solutions, see Attack Surface Reduction – UAM Exclusions. |
