Rules: License suitability (Cloud PC Enterprise and Frontline)

Nerdio Manager allows you to create rules based on using an analyzer that makes recommendations for license suitability. It reviews the license recommendations for your currently deployed Windows 365 desktops, including the option to consolidate from Windows 365 Enterprise to Frontline.

To create a License suitability (Cloud PC & Frontline):

  1. Navigate to Advisor > Rules.

  2. Select Add rule.

  3. Toggle the rule On or Off.

  4. Enter the following information:

    • Name: Type a friendly name for this rule set.

    • Description: Type a description for this rule set.

    • Analyzers: From the drop-down list, select License suitability (Cloud PC & Frontline).

    • License suitability (Cloud PC & Frontline) Settings:Enter the following information:

      • Name: Type a name for this rule set.

      • Optionally, from the Allowed licenses section, select the license options you want to include in the rule.

  5. Select OK to save the new rule.

Manage existing rules

Nerdio Manager allows you to change, delete, disable, and clone existing rules. In addition, you may force an existing rule to be executed.

To manage an existing rule:

  1. Navigate to AdvisorRules.

  2. Locate the rule you wish to work with.

  3. From the action menu, select one of the following options:

    • Edit: Change an existing rule.

    • Delete: Delete an existing rule.

    • Disable: Disable an existing rule.

    • Clone: Clone an existing rule.

    • Force: Force an existing rule to be executed.
