If you have existing host pools in Azure Local, you can import them to Nerdio Manager. For this, you need to associate an existing Azure Virtual Desktop workspace with Nerdio Manager. Once associated, you can manage the workspace's resources directly in Nerdio Manager.
To import and manage existing Azure Local host pools to Nerdio Manager, complete the following steps:

To manage an existing Azure Virtual Desktop workspace, you first need to associate it with Nerdio Manager.
Note
Before you can associate the workspace, make sure that the required setup is complete. This includes linking the appropriate resource group, virtual network (VNet), and any other relevant resources.
To assign an Azure workspace to Nerdio Manager:

Navigate to Cloud Desktops > Azure Virtual Desktop > Workspaces.

In the Workspaces area, in the upper-right of the screen, select Filter.

In the Filter dialog box, turn the Unassigned workspaces toggle on.
The unassigned workspaces are displayed on the Workspaces blade.

Next to the unassigned workspace you wish to manage, select the link
icon. -
In the Confirm Action dialog box, select OK to confirm assigning the selected workspace.
The assigned workspace is now displayed with additional details and can be managed.

Select the assigned workspace to view and manage its static host pools.
Imported Azure Local host pools are static by default. However, in Nerdio Manager, you can convert them to dynamic. This process involves changing the pool type to hybrid first, and then to dynamic, which enables the Auto-scaling capabilities for more efficient resource management, optimized performance, and reduced costs.
To convert a static Azure Local host pool to dynamic:

In the Static Host Pools area, locate the host pool you wish to convert.

From the more options
menu, select Convert to Hybrid.

In the confirmation dialog box, select Confirm.
The host pool is now converted to the hybrid type and is displayed in the Hybrid Host Pools area.

In the Hybrid Host Pools area, next to that host pool, select Convert to Dynamic
.

In the confirmation dialog box, select Confirm.
Warning
After conversion to the dynamic type, the host pool continues to be displayed as hybrid and remains in the Hybrid Host Pools area.
By default, the Auto-scale option is off for any imported host pools. Once the host pool is converted to dynamic, you're directed to the host pool auto-scale configuration page. To enable Auto-scaling, see AVD for Azure Local: Enable dynamic host pool Auto-scaling.
Associate imported Azure Local session hosts with existing VMs to avoid redeployment.
To associate session hosts with existing VMs:

In the Hybrid Host Pools area, select the imported host pool.

In the Session Hosts area, do one of the following:

To associate a single VM:

Next to the session host you wish to associate, select Associate VM
.

In the new dialog box, provide the following information:

Select resource group: From the drop-down menu, select the VM resource group.

Select virtual machine: From the drop-down menu, select the VM.
-
Enable the toggle to confirm that you want to associate the selected VM and host pool.

To associate multiple VMs at once rather than individually:

At the bottom of the screen, select Associate VMs.

In the new dialog box, in the Select resource group field, select the VM resource group.

Select OK.
