How do I transfer my Nerdio Manager subscription between Azure Cloud Solution Providers?
This article shows you how to transfer your Nerdio Manager subscription between Azure Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs).
Confirm the current Nerdio Manager installation

In Nerdio Manager, navigate to Updates.
Find and copy your Install ID.
Confirm how Nerdio Manager is billed today
In the Azure portal, locate the Azure subscription that contains the Nerdio Manager resources (App Service, SQL, Automation, etc.).

In the same tenant, navigate to the SaaS subscriptions and locate the Nerdio Manager SaaS object.
Note: This is the billing object that changes as part of the CSP transfer.
AVD session hosts and host pools are native Azure resources. If the Nerdio Manager license is temporarily invalid during the transfer, the AVD environment keeps running. What you lose during the cut-over window is access to the Nerdio Manager portal and auto-scale functionality. The underlying session host VMs continue to work.
Tip: Select a window where a short pause in Nerdio Manager-driven management is acceptable.
Notes:
There is a 24-hour grace period that allows Nerdio Manager to continue to function during your transfer. If any unforeseen circumstances stretch the transfer period longer, contact us and we can temporarily re-activate the license.
It is important that you notify your CAM or TAM of your planned cut-over so that our billing can ensure your account is properly aligned on our end.
Cancel the existing Nerdio Manager billing subscription under the current CSP
In the Azure portal, under the current CSP, navigate to the SaaS resource identified above.

Select Cancel or Unsubscribe.
Note: This only stops the billing through the old CSP. It does not delete the Nerdio Manager application or any AVD resources.
Complete the Azure CSP transfer
Work with your CSP to transfer the Azure subscription to the new CSP following Microsoft’s CSP transfer process.
Re-subscribe to Nerdio Manager under the new CSP
Once the Azure subscription is under the new CSP and visible in the Azure portal, sign in to the Azure portal as an Owner on that subscription.
In the Azure Marketplace, search for Nerdio Manager.
Select the SaaS object and select Subscribe.

Select the correct Azure subscription, complete the activation, and associate the new subscription to the Install ID gathered in the first step above.
