Windows 365 Self-service portal

With Nerdio Manager's Windows 365 self-service feature, end users with an assigned Cloud PC can perform a defined set of actions on their own device directly from the portal, without administrator involvement.

End users logging into the self-service portal see see a cut-down version of the Nerdio Managerinterface, showing only the self-service portal menu option, under  Cloud Desktops > Self-service > Portal.

Prerequisites

Nerdio Manager subscription

This feature is available to Windows 365 subscribers only.

Note

A broadly equivalent role, with more extensive customization options, is also available for AVD. See Personal host pool user self-service for details.

Role-based access (RBAC) requirements

Users must be assigned the Nerdio Manager RBAC End User role by an administrator to be able to access the self service portal. Self-service actions are available only to End Users with a Cloud PC assigned to them under a self-service-enabled provisioning policy.

To create and assign a self-service enabled policy, a Nerdio Manager administrator must have at least the Manage Policies role in the Intune module. See Role-based access control (RBAC): Custom roles for the full set of Nerdio Manager roles and scopes.
