Power Off and Set as Image - Apps go poof

Good morning!

Our business is currently in the pilot phase of NerdIO and we have a bit of a snag. I have a GoldenImage created, I can remote into it and all the apps and configuration is there. When I tell NerdIO to Power Off and Set as Image it does just that, works great!

However the issue is when I assign this image to a new machine all my apps are gone.

When I power back on my GoldenImage and look, everything is working as intended. All apps and settings are there.

Looking in Azure Images and do not see anything there.

I am sure there is some sort of checkbox or something I am doing wrong, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Peter. How do you install the applications? Can you tell us a bit more about it?

Hey Peter. Do you mind sharing a screenshot of what settings you're using when you are doing the Power Off and Set as Image? Also, are there any errors for the image creation process?

Hi Peter, are you able to see your golden image when you try to run the re-image task on one of the hosts? Are you injecting the image into an Azure compute gallery?
