We are running a test hostpool but require to deploy apps manually first before packaging and testing on a single session host. Deployed another session host and don't see the ability to deploy shell apps to a single session host to test. Can you please add this both under unified catalog -> deploy to -> would be great to be able to type in the session host name. As well as when we go into a hostpool and click on a session host there is an option to Deploy Apps, however there is no option to deploy apps from shell apps from there.

Hi Dave McCormack - update here, we introduced this functionality on a per host basis in a recent release.
Just select a host, and choose 'deploy apps' from the context menu. You will then see a list of all you favorited apps (by default), from which you can select a shell app (below). Thanks!
