Log Analytics costs - higher than expected

Hi Jeff Lamb - from the Storage>Log Analytics page, you have the option to reduce both retention and frequency for the counters for specific LAWs. This will translate to reduced LAW storage costs. Reducing frequency and duration may have an impact if you are using features such as VM right-sizing, as we use this data to inform the recommendations.

For the counter frequency, you have very granular control, so you can configure this to just capture the info you care about with a high resolution, and potentially exclude other info.

Thanks Toby. Unfortunately, the only thing I see on the Storage -> Log Analytics page is a listing of two workspaces with the status of "Advanced Log Analytics management is a Premium edition feature. Upgrade edition on SETTINGS > Nerdio environment page."

Is there any way to manually tweak the retention or reporting frequency inside Azure without upgrading to the premium edition of Nerdio? We're not using VM Rightsizing, since that is also a premium edition feature.
