It would be amazing if you all could add the ability to view and export a list by machine host pool what users are connecting using a HTML vs Windows App/Microsoft Remote Desktop client. Since we are in our busy season the question has come up more than once - Can you tell me who is connecting via web browser vs windows app/microsoft Remote Desktop client?
Add client type and version info to reporting
Hi Travis Losh, thanks for this suggestion. Adding this info to the active user sessions page would give 'current state' data, or alternatively historic information could be gathered as a report. Which is more valuable for you, or are both equally valuable? Amol Dalvi fyi.
Hi Travis - may I ask, why you need this info? What will you do once you have a list of who is connecting via web browser vs windows app/microsoft Remote Desktop client?
Hi Amol Dalvi
As an idea, could you not display the client infos that was used to connect to the user lists (All user sessions, User sessions or your own user filter)? That would certainly be helpful, possibly also information about the connection itself, such as Short Path, RTT, as optional additional columns.
I could imagine that this would be particularly helpful in the service desk, but also for troubleshooting. And if you could then (as in another feature request, but on the subject of hosts) also download a list, that would fulfill the request.
I also wished I could create a list of users in Nerdio who were logged on at a certain point in time. You could then also enrich that with such information.
Thank you. We have some Dashboards and Reports that we are working on. We plan to allow exporting the raw data behind each report, not in v1 but in the future.
Sounds great, thank you!
