When manually building a session host within a host pool, you are required to manually enter a host name, pattern, prefix. It would be helpful for this function to pick up your host pool settings for host names vs requiring you to manually input the naming.
Add session host - Auto detect existing naming for host pool
Hi Jonathon Roebuck
I would go a step further and populate ALL relevant "add session host" settings with defaults taken from the auto scale settings of the host pool.
As mentioned in the following post:

Thank you all, we will capture this request.
This comes up quite often with customers so I think it would be a really valuable feature
I completely agree with the original post. It would be really helpful if the VM size could default to the autoscale settings or at least to the last used size. Currently, it only selects the correct size if I expand the dropdown and select “All”.
This would be so useful, if gets confusing when you have multiple pools with different naming conventions. It means every time someone needs to manually create a host they need to check documentation
Bump, I think an appropriate description would be Enable preconfigured Auto-scale settings for session host naming (pattern/prefix) to be used when admin provisions session hosts manually using Nerdio
