We have applied a deployment policy to a hostpool, however we need some functionality that states when ever a new session host spins up, to apply that application to the new session host.
For now it seems more of a manual task unless I have missed something for new session hosts being deployed to the pool.

What you have described above is the intended behavior - when a new host is added to a pool which is in scope of a deployment policy, then the new host should have the applications from the policy automatically deployed to it.
This process may take a few minutes to initiate, but it should happen automatically. If you are not seeing this, please drop me an email with details and maybe we can arrange a time to review?

Great stuff, didn't see an option so good to know by applying the policy it should auto install. Thanks for the confirmation. Will test and get back to you if any issues :-)
Sounds good! Also, please bear in mind that for any applications which you select the version as 'latest', these will be automatically updated when new versions become available. If you want to avoid this, please select a specific version number for each app when creating the policy.
