We applied the deployment policy to our hostpool, however we notice everytime we go back into the policy it loses the settings under deploy to:
Can you set this to retain the settings in the policy as it is confusing if we set it right the first time and come back in we see settings set to default under deploy to.
Hi Dave, the settings are retained, but you need to click on the target entity to see the details. Is this what you mean?
Hey Toby, After I setup deployment policy for application deployment, everytime I click on it or edit it I no longer see the settings down the side like in the image shared below, it loses those settings however it still deploys correctly to the hostpool etc I originally set it up with. When I click on the target entity you specify, I see it retains the package but not the host pool as per second image. Aaaah I just figured it out, I had to click on the target entity AND the host Pool target to get all settings back like in the second image! I should be good thanks mate!
Dave McCormack - sorry for the confusion, yes you need to click all the entities you want to see the details for. Sorry if this seems a bit unintuitive, we are open to suggestions if you see a better opportunity here! :)
