Currently we are facing public Winget repository outage.
This make deployment policy do not work at all (even not using WinGet apps).
Any host pool re-imaged in this state will get result that not all needed apps are installed. Even worse - Shell apps or apps from private wiget could be also impacted and not instilled (those are impacted but those should be not impacted)
Current re-image behavior:
Session hosts are deleted, and created, new apps are installed. Unfortunately even if Host application deployment task fail, session host creation task is marked as successful. This lead to loosing host pool completely - no apps means host pool not working from end user perspective.
Expected re-image behavior
New session host is created, and task marked as successful only if host application deployment task is successful.
Only then any session host is deleted.
Else (not successful), re-imaging host pool should fail, not to compromise working properly setup.
