In a host pool, it is possible to type a user name into the search box to find the user's assigned host. It would be great if we could simply type “Unassigned” to find unassigned hosts as well.
Search for Unassigned hosts (Completed)
Hi Erik, thank you for the feedback.
Currently, you could navigate to the “All Running Hosts” custom view and sort the “Status” column to review all Unassigned hosts.
Alternatively, you could modify the filter on this page to include “All Statuses” to review all hosts. Additionally, you may also create a custom view with these filters and specify the default sorting to quickly review this at any time.
Does this achieve what you are trying to review?

Yes, sorting by that column will make it easier to find Unassigned hosts, which is the main goal. It still doesn't make sense to me that the Search will match on that column when there is a user name, but not when it is “Unassigned”.
I just found that “Unassigned” is now an available status filter, so that does exactly what I'm looking for by allowing me to get a quick list and count of unassigned VMs.
