Problem:
Today, there is no centralised way in Intune to view the effective set of policies applied to a device/user. Admins often rely on complex PowerShell scripts or device-side diagnostics to troubleshoot policy enforcement. This slows down support workflows and limits visibility for compliance and auditing purposes.
Description:
Add a Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP)-style report that aggregates and displays effective Intune policies applied to users and devices. This would include configuration profiles, compliance policies, security baselines, and ADMX-backed settings deployed via Intune.
Vision:
This feature would introduce a new report or tab within the NME device/user context that pulls policy assignment and status data. It would show:
- Policy setting name and value
- Policy source (e.g., Settings Catalog, Security Baseline, ADMX)
- Assignment type (user/device)
- Status (success, error, not applicable)
- Last check-in timestamp
The goal is to give Intune admins a clear, easy-to-use overview of policy application — without needing to leave Nerdio Manager or rely on external tools.
