It would be great if users would be able to click on a button to launch their preferred client app directly from the self service portal. This would be similar to what the devbox page offers https://devbox.microsoft.com/ .

Hi Florian, thank you for the submission!
I want to obtain a brief clarification on the request.
Are you wanting to be able to open the Windows app through the self-service portal, or open specific Desktops and RemoteApps through the self-service portal?
Hi Raul,
Just launching Windows App would be enough, no need to launch a specific pool/desktop. It should be something similar to what is available in the devbox portal

For now, I have put links in there using the notification box, which btw does not accept URIs, Adam suggested to point to html files that redirect to URIs and that works great, and I submitted another feature request for the notification box to support more formatting.
This is how it looks

When a user clicks on them they launch the respective app, but it would be really helpful to have a couple of buttons in there offered natively that the user can click to launch Windows App and the web client. This would allow us to push users to go to the user portal as a one stop shop.
Thank you for expanding, Florian. I understand and agree. We will investigate the feasibility of implementing more flexibility within the notification field, as well as opening the applications through the self-service portal. Creating a one-stop shop for the end-users will be of immense value.
