There are now two Azure Extended Zones with LA and Perth, Western Australia going GA. For customers looking to use this Extended Zone, it will reduce their latency by 50-150ms depending on where they are located in region. At present it's not possible to manage an existing pool created for AVD in an Extended Zone or deploy and manage AVD in an Extended Zone.
