We currently cannot assign users to individual app groups (ex. Remote Apps) after publishing a remote app to a pool that also has a desktop app group.
We need the ability to manage user assignments to newly create remote app groups.

Please create a support ticket so that we can investigate the steps that you are taking.
You should be able to assign users to a RemoteApp group.
Thanks for the follow up. I was able to locate how to do it in the new UI. The old UI has an obvious drop-down menu to filter the app groups and then assign a user based on the filter. The new UI moved it to a filter button. To be honest, this is rather confusing.
I'd like my feature request to change where when you click on a user/security group and hit assign, in the pop out menu, the administrator can filter the application group from there with an ‘All App Groups’ option and then each respective application group as an option.
