When creating a desktop image the default VM size in Nerdio is D2s_v3, can this be updated to D2s_v5?
I created a desktop image using the default size and Windows 11 24H2 multi-session (Microsoft 365 Apps) Marketplace image, the only changes I made to the image were installing English (United Kingdom) and removing the Classic Outlook.
When setting as an image, the build stalled/failed during the “Get image” phase when converting to an Azure Compute Gallery (ACG) image via Nerdio. Job details initially showed success for earlier steps but silently failed at the “Get Image Stage”. Also the task overview displayed an error but with no actionable details. Checked the Azure activity logs but no errors were shown.
As a work around I changed the VM to Ds2_v5, made the same language and shortcut changes then successfully set as image.
Are there any known image-capture issues specific to D2s_v3 and is it possible to update the default VM size to D2s_v5 to avoid this error.
