Set as image has a set order when you have run scripts and applications you deploy via nerdio. its script firsts and then applications. When you Add a new desktop image the order is reversed. It installs apps and then runs scripts.
I would like the option in both cases to control the order. It can help with that you need to run a script to finalise a app that you installed. I know you can then instead just put it on the host pool but if a customer wants to have fast reinstall times or adding new sessions hosts slows the process down when you know it works during the iamge creation.

Hi everyone,
I fully agree to Christophe, that having control over the script and application run order would be very helpful.
Especially in the case of image creation when you install language packs via script and having application installations depending on the installed language. Currently we have to install these apps at vm creation because there is no way to first run scripts and then install apps.
Hi Christophe and Carsten, thank you for sharing your insights into your use cases. We will investigate adding more flexibility to the deployment order of scripts and applications.
