Currently, when adding a Desktop Image, the ability to leverage Scripted Actions or Scripted Action Groups is only available when the image is created as a Nerdio Image Object. This process automatically runs Sysprep once the configuration is complete, preventing any additional customization before sysprepping.
In scenarios where third-party integrations (such as SCCM Task Sequences) are used to build images with customer-specific applications and configurations, this creates a limitation. Many of these environments already rely on Nerdio Scripted Actions, organized into Scripted Action Groups, which could otherwise complement the SCCM process if available outside the Image Object workflow.
Requested Functionality:
Enable the ability to run Scripted Actions and Scripted Action Groups when creating Desktop Images without requiring an Image Object. This would allow Nerdio to initiate the Desktop Image creation while enabling SCCM Task Sequences to complete the required application and configuration installation, without forcing a Sysprep mid-process.
