External identities AVD support (Completed)

Hello, does Nerdio support External Identities for AVD? If I understand the feature correctly, I'd like to see if it's possible to create a guest-only pool for outside vendors or partners

No support yet for that feature that I have seen. As you know - we seamlessly integrate with your Entra ID (Cloud native or Hybrid) and Entra Domain Services (if used). And your Hybrid setup can include the use of federation. 

It will be interesting to see if this External Identity feature catches on enough and we see more requests for it. Like you, I sure see the value. Of course, the restrictions list is still pretty long. For example, a big caveat is no FSLogix.

Hi Max and Anthony, we plan to support guest user types in our upcoming v7.5 release, thereby fully supporting external identities. Be on the lookout for the release notes!
