Images - Azure Compute Gallery - Use specific image definitions and custom versions

When building desktop images, let us create custom/use existing image definitions within the gallery - at the moment it seems it is only possible for Nerdio to create its own, which is the desktop image machine name + GUID.

Additionally, allow us to specify customised naming for the versions to meet naming standards - not every customer wants 1.0.0, 1.0.1, etc.
