Auto-scale and Disaster Recovery Custom Configuration

Problem statement:

With the current configuration, auto-scale forces a 50-50 split of the session hosts across the primary and secondary configurations.

Feature Request:

I would like the ability to control what percentage of the host pool should run in the primary vs secondary region. Additionally, we would like the ability for auto-scale to initiate the configured split without the admins having to manually deploy new hosts or delete existing hosts.

Reason  for Request:

We are running into situations where we would like to run more hosts out of one of the regions due to issues in the other. To do this today, we have to disable auto-scale, manually deploy new hosts in the "good" region, update the capacity settings in auto-scale, and then turn auto-scale back on. This is a very manual and complicated process.

Example:
We start with the default DR setup with 50-50 split. I want to update to run 75-25 (75% in primary). I would like for auto-scale to deploy the new hosts and, once that is complete, put the 50% of the existing secondary hosts (dropping the quantity to my target 25%) into drain mode so they can be deleted when emptied.

Thank you for raising this, DeWayne.

We will investigate supporting this functionality and enhancing DR capabilities.
