One thing that some clients really talk about is cleanup of old profiles. They can see under insight AVD and fslogix profiles that are not in use anymore. a nice feature would be to be able to set a automation that deletes profiles with a X number of days old fx 180 days etc and then its removed via the automation.
fslogix autocleanup automation
I support this feature request 100%, because the existing CleanUp Script, a runbook, does not work in a hardened environment without Hybrid Worker. But deleting profiles is possible, so it would be possible via Nerdio's own automation.
Create the option for each storage account to configure the time after which profiles can be deleted. If possible, also provide a list of UPNs or groups with users who are excluded from this.
Archived profiles that correspond to this age should also be deleted.
And while we're at it, maybe there's another way without SAS tokens, using Nerdio's Managed Identity?
Would be great to have this feature!
Hi Christophe
Thank you for the suggestion. We are looking to build out our troubleshooting tasks from the FSLogix Insights page. Our initial addition is the ability to reset FSLogix profiles which are having problems.
This ask is absolutely one we can add into future iterations of the feature.
thanks

Hi Christophe Stefan and Pratheep
I am please to announce that we will be able to reset\delete FSLogix profiles directly from all the charts within the Insights > AVD > FSLogix graphs. Coming in 7.6 you will be able to look at the detail of any of the graphs in the FSLogix page and from the details pane that appears, select\multi-select the specific profiles you want and then directly reset\delete them from there.
On top of this, in a future release, we will be adding more granular options around archiving and deleting the data in the FSLogix profile. Watch this space.
thank you
David Grain
I Didn't see mentioned a Feature we could enable to automatically delete Profiles that are Stale beyond X amount of time. Perhaps as a HostPool level setting as part of the FSLogix configuration. If the Feature Request is implemented (when it is) - That sounds like it would just be a matter of building out the scripting logic, and would remove the need to Run a scheduled script, or manually clean up old data, as well as a Task log history of what was cleaned up.
We have over 300 user profiles which are older than 30 days. This feature can save monthly 600-700 USD if introduced without a need of manual script.
Definitely, we need a logic box to select the age of profiles to be deleted, and a log somewhere that displays which profiles are removed.
is there an ETA on this because we are on 7.7.2 and it has not been implemented yet. I have not seen 8.0 which is being released soon but it would be great to have a hard date for this feature as this is an important thing for many customers.
