We are having an issue with machines that are configured to hibernate. Hibernation fails if the machine does not have enough free space based on the amount of RAM it has. Nerdio continuously retries to hibernate it and the task always fails and so the machine remains powered on. We would like a way for the machine to be automatically stopped by logging off the user if hibernation fails.
This is actually a concept that can be offered as a global solution in Nerdio. The one above is our current need but Nerdio can develop something that triggers the execution of custom scripts based on different events, especially failed tasks.
Trigger actions based on events
I fully support this request. We are facing exactly the same issue.
Hi Team. Please can you review this one?
Thanks, Florian and Marek.
From what you're describing, it sounds like you're wanting to combing the Auto-Heal functionality and Notifications where, based on a certain task, you're able to run a Scripted Action.
Do you think that would do what you're needing or are you imagining different/additional functionality?

It can be done through the Autoheal too, you would just need to add more conditions in there, not just the AVD agent status that exists today. Thank you for looking into this.
Hi, in my example notification about every failed action in Nerdio is already set.
Main Issue is when Nerdio is not able to hibernate VM it retried every 10 minutes endlessly, and there is no alternative configuration, to set like: “if hibernaton fails 10 times → Shutdown VM”
Totally agree with Marek.
Basically, a possible logic can be that if the VM fails to hibernate, Nerdio should log off the hibernated session and then stop the VM. Please can I have an update on this if this is how you are envisioning to implement this?
