v6 VM Ephemeral OS disk - waste of not used space

Hello

In nerdio now it is possible to create v6 VM on Ephemeral OS disk.

Azure VM v6 make more strict rules, so in this case only one drive from Temp space can be created.

OS drive created is 128GB, but Temp space is 220B, this means almost 100GB of super performant disk is wasted.

There no way to extend already created OS disk, there is no way to create second disk (for example for swap file).

 

Please make possible to create v6 VM using all possible space available to OS disk from Temp space.

Hi Marek Sokół  - thank you for raising this.

We will investigate the ability to expand the OS disk size by default or provide an option.
