Is it possible in Nerdio to have a feature that would show all the Intune policies that a group is assigned to? It would be very very helpful.
Show all the Intune policies that a group is assigned to
I don't think this is available natively in Intune today but sounds like a great idea!
Are you thinking of just a report to show the Policy/Profile assignments or are you seeing this as something where you have the output, but are able to take actions (i.e. Exclude from policy/profile, assign additional profile(s)/policies)?
Hey Dave. Exactly because it is not natively available, I cannot emphasize enough how useful this is for all of us that work with Intune. The struggle is having a group and not knowing where it is assigned in the huge Intune environment, then imagine having thousands of groups and thousands of policies, apps etc. So, I have a group of devices and I start assigning that group to policies, apps etc and it gets to hundreds of policies and apps…Today there is no way for me to go back and check where I have assigned it so that I can have a single view of what policies are being applied to those machines. Having this info immediately available would help me plan future changes a lot faster. This is an issue and a need that everyone has today. With this not being natively offered, if Nerdio can make it happen, I really see a huge potential of companies enabling Intune in Nerdio just for this feature alone.
Hi Florian Dushniku - Do you mean something like this? Group selection on the left, policy assignments & descendent properties on the right.

Yes, that would be perfect. Is this available today? We haven't fully configured all Intune features in Nerdio yet, but planning to do so soon. The idea is what you show in the screenshot by hopefully listing as much as possible when it comes to where that group is assigned, which can be policies, apps, compliance policies, update rings, etc…anywhere where groups are assignable. Probably including everything might be a lot to ask for, but the more you can show the better.
Hi Florian Dushniku it is not in the product currently, but we have future plans. The above is a mock-up of ‘RSOP-like' visibility. Intune policy is a very complex feature, so we are planning to start with a subset of functions, likely configuration policies as a first step. But we'd love to eventually offer a better management experience for all policy editing & review. Stay tuned! :)
Awesome Toby, thank you. Any approximate ETA you can share, like Q1, this year, next year?
Hi Florian Dushniku q2 '26 is the plan, but as I mentioned we will release preview with limited functionality and plan to enhance based on customer feedback. Thanks.
Looking forward to it, thank you!
