Download Custom Powershell Scripts logs by default optional

When a Scripted Action is run, you can retrieve the log for it by going into the Job Details and clicking Request Custom PowerShell Scripts logs:

Can you create the options to set the automatic collection of these logs for:

  • All Scripted Actions.
  • Individual Scripted Actions/Scripted Action Groups.
  • Individual Desktop Images.
  • Individual Host Pools.

…with the idea being that the logs are already collected for when the Scripted Action fails:

It would be useful to have logs immediately available to download for when something fails so that we don't have to request them, wait for the VM to turn on, retrieve the logs, etc.

I've seen similar requests for this, however, the problem that I can see would be DB storage to keep the PowerShell logs.
If we did download the logs, would you want to be able to automatically clean-up the logs (after a certain date (i.e. 5 days?) or do you see needing to keep all the logs “forever” and manually cleaning-up un-needed logs?

Yes, that would be good to be able to set a retention period for automatically downloaded logs, and even manually initiated downloaded logs.

Being able to set different retention periods (for the bullet points mentioned), would be ideal, not just a one retention period for all downloaded logs. Additionally, being able to do a “force log cleanup” on different resources, and Nerdio wide, would be good.
