Add the 25H2 “Windows 11 AVD + Microsoft 365 Apps (multi-session)” marketplace image to NME. The other 25H2 images have been available for several months, but this image is still missing, so we are still using the 24H2 version. Hi Neil Green, apologies for the confusion, this image is already in the NME product since NME v7.4:
We had already changed the “EVD” nomenclature to “AVD” in most of these marketplace images with the upcoming release of NME v7.7 targeted to be published within the next few days. EVD was an old Microsoft naming used in their SKUs.
Thanks Raul. I had noticed the EVD images, mainly for older W10 images, but assumed that was something different.
To clarify, EVD/AVD is the same thing so we could safely use that EVD image now; and when NME 7.7 is released, any EVD images will show as AVD?
Correct - these EVD-named images will be renamed to AVD.
