In VMware we had an option to place a host into “Drain and delete” mode. Meaning when the host is in this mode it would not allow new logins but would not kick current users out. Then when the host reached zero users it would automatically delete the host. This would be SO HELPFUL for us and save a bunch of time!!!
Drain and Delete option for hosts

Yes! This is very much needed. This would save a lot of time and automate the process.
Hi all,
We currently support Rolling Drain Mode and scale-in restrictions when configuring auto-scale in your host pools:
Great documentation here outlining these and other features to support automatic scaling of session hosts based on usage:
Enable dynamic host pool Auto-scaling – Nerdio Manager for Enterprise
Similarly, we support the functionality to “Active” or “Deactivate” a session host, or a host pool, ad-hoc, so that if a session host is deactivated, it will be placed in “Drain Mode” and prevent new user sign ins.
