Currently, Nerdio provides centralized management capabilities for AVD, including image patching, scheduling, and automation workflows. However, there is no consolidated, real-time or historical view of patch compliance at the Session Host level within Insights.
We require a native reporting capability within Nerdio Insights to track and monitor monthly patching status across AVD session hosts and host pools.
Requested Enhancement
Add a new Insights dashboard/widget in Nerdio with the following capabilities:
1. Session Host Patch Compliance Dashboard
- Per Host Pool / Workspace / Region view
- Status categories:
- ✅ Patched (Current Month)
- ⚠️ Pending
- ❌ Failed
- ⏳ Not Scheduled
2. Monthly Patch Cycle Tracking
- Track patching aligned with Patch Tuesday schedules
- Show:
- Last patch date
- Patch version / image version deployed
- Days since last patch
3. Host-Level Visibility
- Session host name
- Associated host pool
- Image version currently running
- Patch status vs latest approved image
4. Compliance & Reporting Metrics
- % compliance at:
- Host pool level
- Environment level (DEV / PROD)
- Trend view (month-over-month compliance)
5. Alerts & Notifications
- Alert if:
- Hosts are not reimaged after patch cycle
- Hosts running outdated image versions
- Patch failures detected
6. Export & API Support
- Ability to export report (CSV / Excel)
- API endpoint for integration with Power BI / ServiceNow
