NME - Autoscale add hosts - Set an option in there to process in groups of X. When the base pool capacity is say extended from 50 to 250 it will immediately add 200 hosts at once causing API issues and throttling. Please add an option in host pool sizing to process in groups of X. This way the add function can be throttled back

If needed there is already an option that you can configure listed on the Advanced App Service Configurations page to reduce the batch sizes - Provision:MaxAddNewVMJobsCount
By default, this is 100, meaning 100 hosts would be provisioned at one. If this is causing issues in your environment it can be lowered. However, I would also recommend reaching out to support to make sure there aren't any other underlying issues, or if there are other recommendations the support team may have.
