yes, and the worst is task of adding host is reported as successful, but without successful app installation actually it is not:
Alternatively, during VM creation, trigger caused VM creation should be reevaluated, and if not valid anymore, VM creation process should be canceled.
To add from my experience, single unavailability of VM (60 seconds), caused by restart, can trigger scaling plan to start creating new VM.
Totally agree, currently I prefer to manage that through Azure portal.
Toby Skerritt, jest tested, and it is working fine. Backups are done when VM in on, off or hibernated. Found no issue so far.
